“Mendoza as a destination for the international tourism”
Bodegas de Argentina and the Mendoza’s Hotels Chamber organized a cocktail before the Consular Corp of Mendoza with the purpose of promoting The Route of Wine: Mendoza as a destination for the international tourism.
In this way, both institutions adhered to the agreement established along with the Consular Corp of Mendoza for the promotion -through the Consulates’ websites- of the Mendoza’s Routes of Wine as an international tourist attraction.
At the same time, Bodegas de Argentina introduced the New Tourist Brochure about the Routes of Wine in Argentina, which includes the list of all the wineries of the country available for tourists’ visits. The brochure will be free distributed at the wineries and tourist information centers.
During the cocktail, a Routes of Wine video was showed. This film was produced by Bodegas de Argentina with the purpose of advertising different vinicultural areas of the country. It is available at our webpage: www.bodegasdeargentina.org (see: “Caminos del Vino” icon)
The cocktail offered by Villaggio Hotel, consisted in:
Tapas frías (Cold Tapas) (Tapenade, Guacamole, Humus, Smoked salmon, Parma ham with palm hearts); Tapas calientes (Hot Tapas) (mushrooms with goat cheese, mozzarella cheese over almond crostini, cherry tomatoes flavored with basil and raisins, chicken, Ratatouille); Brochettes: (Capresse, bacon and pork; lobster flavored with lemon cream, Mediterranean, cheese and Vienna sausage rolls); Brochettes (beef, chicken, pork, lamb, vegetables); Little Empanadas (Stuffed Pastry) (pork sausage, blood sausage, entrails, corn husk, ham and cheese); Sweet Tartlets (fruit cream, milk jam and nuts, strawberry mousse, kiwi mousse, peach mousse, alfajores de maicena-cornstarch cookies,- fancy biscuits and pastries).
The white wines served were from Tomero line of Vistalba winery, whose owner is Carlos Pulenta; the sparkling wines, from Omnium line of Viniterra winery.
