The Tourist Packages for the Dakar Rally Begin at US$ 1,200

Mendoza’s Ketek EVT is commercializing it.  It includes lodging, VIP foods, and passes to enjoy the race.

Ketek Events & Tourism is a wholesale operator in Argentina specialized in the region of Cuyo.  Through its area of Individual and Group Trips, it helps to plan trips for foreign visitors or corporate tourists.  This time in the face of the interest that the Dakar Rally has awoken, between the 3 and the 18th of January in Argentina and Chile, a series of VIP itineraries to enjoy the race have begun to be promoted.

The programs for the Dakar are going from US$1,200 per person.  They include four days and three nights of lodging in a category hotel, lunches and dinners in top restaurants and wineries.  A route down the Caminos del Vino (Roads of Wine), a tango show, mountain excursions, lodging at ranches and even nights of astronomic tourism to contemplate the night sky have been organized.  Within the exclusive Dakar program, tourists will have the possibility to reach camps where the cars and the camping sites will be, and to set up watch from the lookouts where the race will pass by.

The personalized service is to follow the entire Dakar in Mendoza, just as in the other places through which the race will pass. According to Romanella Paggi, from Ketek, there have already been inquiries from clients who reside in England, Germany, Canada, United States, and Mexico, and from corporate clients.
