When asked to name a good South American wine, most Phnom Penh wine drinkers will without a doubt mention a Chilean wine. This is surprising because Chile is only No 9 in terms of world wine production. Argentina on the other hand, produces almost twice as much wine and, in fact, is the fifth biggest producer of wine in the world.
Valle de Uco and the Province Promote Tourism
Mendoza launched a promotion for the summer season in strategic points throughout the country. The investment is for around 450,000 pesos and looks to stimulate internal tourism. In Valle de Uco, the three departments are working together to promote the region.
Killka, of Salentein, won the Best Of Competition in South Africa
Killka, the cultural space at Salentein Wineries and Vineyards, has been the only Argentine winery to wine a gold medal in the prestigious competition that is held in South Africa.
